From one flight to the next. It feels like we’ve traveled so much in the past couple of months that this could turn into an airport review blog… don’t worry, it won’t 😊.
Our latest excursion took us to Washington, DC for The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals National Meeting. We attended this last year and presented the initial concept for our Proteometer-L Kit. The reception that we received was that attendees were impressed by the chemistry but that it was too conceptual to meet the BPL (bioprocessing level) that is needed for them to act swiftly on partnerships, grants, or purchasing.
Fast forward to 2023 – It was extremely rewarding to showcase how we have rapidly gone from proof of concept to a commercialized product that achieves the BPL 4.0 level.
We were able to demonstrate this in the form of two short on-stage talks called “lightning presentations” and a longer form poster presentation that showcased how the Proteometer-L Kit is helping customers – One of those primary benefits being the elimination of sample preparation, Protein A digestion, and mass spectrometry analysis steps when performing rapid analysis of mAbs for titer and aggregate content from cell-free filtrate samples.
We’re thankful for the opportunity to connect with strategic partners and potential customers. We look forward to continued conversations as a result of NIIMBL 2023!
